Timeline of Second Dawn - Scavenger Lands
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 01 - The Circle is formed in Great Forks, binding Crimson Bladebearer (Dawn), Fuuma Raya (Zenith), Luminous Omen (Twilight), Feathered Deathbringer (Night), and Unrestrained Clarity (Zenith).
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 02 - Enlisted by the Weaver of Dreams, one of the three patron Gods of Great Forks, The Circle journeys southwest to stop the Walker In Darkness from expanding his shadowland to envelop Great Forks.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 04 - The Circle arrives at the Four Falls Manse, where they clash with the Deathknights of the Walker in Darkness. They escape and meet with Marala, a Sidereal Exalted who reveals that the shadowland is expanding due to a Rogue God that is reweaving fate illegally. She enlists the Circle to help her defeat the Rogue God and shows them a way into the manse.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 05 - The Circle infltrates an old fortress taken over by a House Ledaal-sponsored imperial legion, which is beneath a secret passage that leads into the Four Falls Manse. They cross into the Manse and do battle with two Deathknights and hordes of zombies in a surprise attack. They are able to kill the rogue god and stop the expansion of the shadowlands. They also blow up the manse in the process.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 05 - Talespinner learns of the deal brokered by Weaver of Dreams with the Solar Exalted, anxious that the Realm will break extremely profitable trading contracts with Great Forks should Great Forks grant legitimcy to the Circle, Talespinner acts to get them out of the City by having the Glass Spiders try to assassinate them, and later tipping off the Immaculate Monks to organize a Wyld Hunt.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 07 - The Circle is ambushed by agents of the Glass Spiders within a few miles from Great Forks. They escape the attack and learn of Talespinner's actions. Unrestrained Clarity returns to find his brothel, the House of Sighs, officially closed on order of Talespinner.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 08 - Unrestrained Clarity meets with the Weaver of Dreams and learns about Talespinner's actions. He makes a decision to relocate his operations to Nexus and swears vengeance on Talespinner. The Weaver of Dreams promises to keep the Circle's whereabouts secret for one week, sparing them from assassination and giving them time to train and nurse their wounds. Weaver of Dreams also reveals the location of the 5 tombs to the circle in exchange for being unable to completely fulfill the original agreement with them.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 14 - Cynis Belar Oberon Iulio (aka Tito Boi) makes an offer to Unrestrained Clarity, offering to divert the fury of the Wyld Hunt from his people in exchange for the Circle assassinating Sesus Chenow Obaran at Greyfalls in six months time.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 15 - The Circle leaves Great Forks for a small fishing town near the town of Marita, where a small cell center of the Cult of the Illuminated is present. Crimson Bladebearer and Luminous Omen need to report back to their superiors in the Cult about their mission to check the growth of the Walker in Darkness' shadowland.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 17 - The Circle encounters river patrols along the Yanaze river. They are forced to entertain a particular dragon blooded officer, Mnemon Aluka, for a few days while they maintain a ruse of being a Patrician entourage.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 20 - The Circle is attacked by three Water Aspect members of the Glass Spiders. They fight off the attack but Feathered Deathbringer is severely injured. Mnemon Aluka returns to the Dragon Blooded patrol that she came from.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 22 - The Circle arrives at the Cult of the Illuminated village near Marita. Feathered Deathbringer is healed of his wounds. The Circle camps out there to rest and train.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 28 - Fuuma Raya, Feathered Deathbringer and Unrestrained Clarity encounter and slay a Wyld tainted creature they discover outside the village... or so they think.
RY 768 - Resplendant Fire 01 - The Circle was supposed to leave for the tomb of Luminous Omen's past incarnation when they realized that the Wyld creature was actually still alive... Also, the soulsteel weapon that Crimson Bladebearer looted from the Deathknight of the Walker in Darkness was affecting his mind... they spend a few more days to deal with the problem.
RY 768 - Resplendant Fire 03 - Ayesha Ura, after being advised by Master Banthor of the Cult outpost near Marita, sends a Twilight Caste Solar known as Rippling Sand to aid the Circle in retrieving artifacts from their manse. Rippling Sand and a God Blood Companion depart for the outpost in a newly built and heavily modified chariot: Heaven's Justice.
RY 768 - Resplendant Fire 04 - A squad of Tiger Warriors arrives in the village.
RY 768 - Resplendent Fire 05 - Rippling Sand arrives at the village with Heaven's Justice. Unrestrained Clarity figures out what's wrong with Crimson Bladebearer and lifts the curse from the soulsteel blade by feeding it his blood. Crimson Bladebearer tells the others that he'll handle looking for the creature at the village, they should go ahead and find the tomb.
RY 768 - Resplendant Fire 06 - The Circle leaves the village on Heaven's Justice. They encounter a Dragon Blooded blockade near Mist Island and fight a brief aerial battle with two Realm Warbirds. The Warbirds turn back after sustaining damage and the Heaven's Justice enters the Wyld. There in the Wyld, they realize that they are carrying a Chimera on board and it springs to life, attacking them right in the middle of the territory of the Opal Court.
After battling the Chimera aboard the Heaven's Justice, the craft sustains some damage to it's engines and is forced to fly lower. As the battle rages on, members of the Opal Court arrive, expecting another Lunar incursion. Two Cataphractoi board the Heaven's Justice as the melee with the Chimera continues. At this point, Unrestrained Clarity invokes the Solar Rite of Passage, calling upon ancient pacts that ban the Fair Folk from harming an Eclipse Caste solar or his party. The Circle watches the Chimera do battle with the Cataphractoi.
After a few minutes, another group of Exalted enter the fight. These are the members of a Lunar Wyld Pack formed to hunt down the Chimera. It is composed of an elder Lunar sorcerer called Eye of Shadow, a Lunar scout called Adamant Blood Kite, and a Lunar Warrior called Benjaho Mountain Aegis. The three Lunars chased off the Cataphractoi and finally killed the Chimera... or so they thought.
The Circle of Solars and Pack of Lunars eyed each other warily. Benjaho's Lunar exaltation instantly recognized it's paired Solar Exaltation in Raya. However the impasse was broken by Unrestrained Clarity and Eye of Shadow, who started speaking to each other in Old Realm.
Their mutual distrust set aside for a moment, the two groups of Celestial Exalts proceeded to work together, preparing the body of the Chimera, who the No Moon Eye of Shadow named as Seven Foxes Hunting, for cremation by Raya.
Because the Circle aided Pack in their Wyld Hunt, Eye of Shadow told the Circle of a path to the tomb that they seek, and revealed that one Lunar, known as Raksi, Queen of Fangs, had already entered the tomb.
Before Raya was to dissolve the corpse with her anima power, the Lunars noticed that a body part of the Chimera was missing. Adamant Blood Kite changed into the form of a fish and swam into the river looking for the missing body part... as long as a single part of the Chimera was not completely destroyed, it would form again.
The Lunars failed to find the body part. Eye of Shadow informed the Circle that they would have to part ways... at least two of them. Benjaho would remain with the Circle, for he wishes to accompany his Solar mate.
The Circle, now with a new Lunar ally, set out for the tomb of Luminous Omen.
RY 768 Resplendant Fire 07 - A Dragon Blooded attack force led by House Ledaal storm into the Cult of the Illuminated village after having been tipped off by some Sidreals of the Bronze Faction. After a brutal, bloody fight against four warstriders, Crimson Bladebearer retreats from the manse, escaping through a Calibration Gate summoned by the Cult cell's elder sidereal Marben... Crimson Bladebearer finds himself in the heavenly city of Yu Shan.
Timeline of Second Dawn - Dragons of the Realm
RY 761 - Ascending Air 08 - Blazing Diamonds are formed at the House of Bells. Cathak Rae, Cathak Shima, Tepet Eran, Peleps Andier, Peleps Nuwada, Sesus Chenow Rakshid are randomly assigned to the new unit.
RY 761 - Nellens Winters enters the Heptagram.
RY 763 - Cathak Shima completes her initiation into Terrestrial Circle Sorcery by sacrificing her beloved pet yeddim.
RY 764 - Fuuma Darien dies in an accident involving Cathak Rae and Mnemon Aluka. Mnemon Aluka is found guilty and sent to the threshold as punishment.
RY 767 - Nellens Winters graduates from the Heptagram, already initiated into Terrestrial Circle Sorcery.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 01 - The Blazing Diamonds are given their first mission, to aid a magistrate in capturing two rogue Dragon-Blooded "found eggs" who escaped from Pasiap's Stair.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 05 - The Blazing Diamonds arrive in Lord's Crossing, having flown there by Air Chariot from the House of Bells.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 06 - Further intelligence reveals that the two Dragon Blooded soldiers in training have captured a bunch of slaves that they have outfitted as a warband. Nellens Winters arrives in Lord's Crossing, seeking an Anathema for his faction in the Deliberative.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 07 - "Battle of the East Lock" - The Blazing Diamonds, at the head of 125 troops of the Imperial Reserve Force at Lord's Crossing defeat a band of rebels numbering some 250 lead by the two Dragon Blooded rogues: Silent Temple and River Laughing. It is later revealed that the two were working with an Forsaken, whom the Blazing Diamonds were able to defeat in single combat.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 10 - Tepet Fokuf, Regent of the Realm hears about the exploits of the Blazing Diamonds and deems it a sign from the Elemental Dragons. He gives them a rare boon: the privilage of choosing the unit that they will serve under and declares them part of the new generation of heroes of the Realm.
RY 768 - Ascending Fire 26 - The graduating class of RY 768, along with the Blazing Diamonds leaves the House of Bells for their graduation ball at the Imperial Capital.
RY 768 - Resplendant Fire 04 - The Blazing Diamonds arrive at the Imperial Capital.
RY 768 - Resplendant Fire 06 - The Imperial City throws a Parade of Heroes for the Blazing Diamonds on Tepet Fokuf's behest. There is a minor incident when a woman claiming to be Peleps Nuwada's sister tries to speak to him. Peleps Andier insults Malon Za Ledaal, a fourth coil Immaculate Monk.
RY 768 - Resplendant Fire 07 - The Ball of Broken Souls - An anathema assassin emerges in the Imperial Citadel on the night of the graduation ball. Displaying vast power, he assassinates Tepet Fokuf with Yozi venom, and tries to kill everyone there with a mini soulbreaker orb. Only the sorcery of Mnemon saves everyone there. 18 Dragon-Blooded warriors, many of them veterans, die in the wake of the Soulbreaker Orb's explosion.
RY 768 - Resplendant Fire 08 - Resplendant Fire 14 - The Scarlet Empire is in a state of mourning over the deaths of Tepet Fokuf and 18 Dragon Blooded who died defending him. An elaborate State Funeral is held and the politicking of the realm pauses while everyone remembers those who died. Soon after, an investigation led by house Ledaal and Mnemon gets under way.
RY 768 - Resplendant Fire 18 - The Commission on the Bloody Ball makes its report to the Deliberative. They have reason to believe that the perpetrator behind the crime is an Anathema known as the Walker in Darkness, who has struck out at the Realm in order to neutralize it and allow him to expand his holdings further in the River Provinces.
RY 768 - Resplendant Fire 19 - The Deliberative declares a Wyld Hunt on the Walker in Darkness and dispatches a full legion to join with six other legions in the threshold to destroy the Walker in Darkness once and for all.
RY 768 Resplendant Fire 28 - A False Marriage - Sesus Rakshid married a Cynis child-bride upon the wishes of his house... but the Cynis girl's teenaged lover challenged him to a fight. Despite being mortal and lacking exceptional fighting abilities, the lover, Mallon Starwarder was able to throw Rakshid into the water... prompting Rakshid to claim that his child-bride was insulting him since she did nothing to stop Mallon Starwarder. This was publicly announced to everyone present in the marriage, and the shame it brought upon Sesus Rakshid's mother caused her to call off the wedding. She cut off his family stipend the next day.
RY 768 Decending Fire 07 - After a week of crossing the Inland Sea, the Brotherhood meets with their commanding officer Tepet Ejava, known as "The Roseblack". She told them her ambitions and how she wanted the unit to be run. After this, plans were made to get the full strength Vermillion Legion from Port Calin to Great Forks in one week using Sorcery. The Legions would be ready for muster into the shadowlands on the last day of Decending Fire... but they would wait five more days for Calibration...
Timeline of Second Dawn - The West
1st Day of Ascending Fire, Realm Year 768 - Cynis Akasha (Twilight), Grandchild of the Sky (Night), Knife of the Ocean (Night), Naar Kalaman (Eclipse), Raging Snowstorm (Dawn), and Akira Silverwing (No-Moon) meet and recognize their connections from the First Age. In the process they liberate over a hundred slave and acquire a Lintha slaver ship and a Guild blue water merchant ship. They agree to meet in a months time in Abalone.
1st Day of Resplendent Fire, Realm Year 768 - The group meets in Abalone and decides to "raid and trade." Granchild of the Sky, Knife of the Ocean, and Raging Snowstorm trawls the islands in search of prey while Cynis Akasha, Naar Kalaman, and Akira Silverwing head towards The Neck to develop trade agreements.
